Hello, it states the assets are 'FREE' does this mean I can use them for personal and commercial use? and does this also mean that reference is not needed as it is not mentioned. Many thanks.

Yes, you can use the assets as you want for personal and commercial use. Tribute is not needed, but it's greatly appreciated if you do so..
